Urine tests are cheap, fast, and effective, but what employees do to cheat the results is to drink plenty of water before taking the test so that whatever drug residue is left in their system, it will be flushed out from their bodies. The urine drug test then become a negative dilute test. When urine is diluted will not give an accurate result. There are different reactions to this with some employers not minding it at all but others would not let it go and ask for a retest.

Another thing that a hair follicle drug testing can reveal about a person is his history of drug taking. It is also very difficult for employees to cheat hair follicle drug test. Those taking the hair follicle test are not allowed to bring a loose sample of hair which could be switched. The sample of hair to be taken for drug analysis will come from the back of your head. If you have taken drugs for the past 3 to 4 months should be aware that drug traces can still be found in a hair follicle test and you may be in trouble with your employment. Hair follicle test is more expensive than urine tests and the lab results come slow.
